PALOMA SOTILLO PLATA (SWY15, Spain) is now an Administration staff. After SWY, I lived two years in Japan and I worked as a Spanish teacher. I had the opportunity of meeting again my Japanese ship-mates and meet some other previous participants. This was a wonderful second chance for me to make friends with people that I didnLt speak much on the boat. I had the pleasure of hosting many ship-mates in Madrid, Spain and anytime I travel abroad I contact with SWYLs participants to meet them, to share experiences and to get to know their culture. In my previous job I was involved in helping foreign students who came to Madrid to study Spanish, I used to welcoming them, help them with accommodation and with cultural events and exchange events to meet Spanish people.
